Objectives

General objective:

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:
- describe and explain some additional processes not studied before (contract management,configuration management, quality...).
- name and describe the engineering process specifically used for avionics systems, and detail thesoftware and hardware specifications

Detailed objectives:

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:
- list the activities included in the system engineering processes
- explain the contractual approach in connection with an industrial project
- describe the technical processes involved in System Engineering
- differentiate software life cycles
- describe the hardware lifecycle from a system integrator point of view
- differentiate quality approaches, explain project and organization related processes.
- explain quality activities and define configuration management
- explain constraints associated to critical function development and certification and describe the Model Based Design approach
