Objectives

General objective:

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:
- Describe and/or explain the different functions and characteristics of the elements of a RF communication.
- Apply the link budget to obtain the received power and/or the C/N ratio, taking into account the various elements of the transmission channel in the space communication context

Detailed objectives:

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:
- Describe the characteristics of space systems
- Explain and describe basics on digital communication
- Explain and describe basics on antenna and propagation
- Apply the budget link
- Explain and Describe multiple access techniques
- Name the ITU regulation
