After completing this module, the student will be able to:
Take part in the development, implementation and assessment of the safety management system of an aerodrome operator.

After completing this module, the student will be able to:
- Discuss the operational and management challenges that an aerodrome operator has to deal with
- Explain the safety issues related to aerodrome operations
- Describe the applicable regulatory provisions framing the safety of aerodrome operations
- Apply the components and elements of the safety management system to an aerodrome operator
- Analyse an aerodrome safety policy and objectives
- Experiment an aerodrome-related safety risk management process
- Appraise the safety performance of an aerodrome operator
- Categorise safety training topics of an aerodrome operator
- Organise the information relating to the safety management system of an aerodrome operator
- Compare the existing safety management processes and procedures of an aerodrome operator against the requirements and/or best practices
- Determine the phases of implementation of the safety management system of an aerodrome operator
- Assess the safety management system of an aerodrome operator
