Objectives
General objective:
At the end of this module, the applicant will be able to explain the working methods of the air traffic controllers that are used to manage the air traffic in a safe and efficient manner on an En route control position.
Detailed objectives:
After completing this module, the applicant will be able to:
- characterize an En route control sector geography,
- explain the technics of separation of the air traffic
- explain how the air traffic controllers coordonate the air traffic
- explain the importance of the use of the phraseology in the radio telecommunications
- recognize an En route control position and describe the controller HMI
- describe how the air traffic controllers are trained on simulator positions
