AT6003E - Airspace design
Objectives
General objective:
At the end of this module, the applicant will be able to explain the Airspace Design, this new concept, developed and implemented in Europe in the late 1990's in order to cope with the increasing traffic demand and make a constrained airspace more capacitive.
After completing this module, the student will be able to describe the best European practices for the airspace optimization
Detailed objectives:
After completing this module, the applicant will be able to:
- explain the main Airspace Management strategies
- explain the Single European Airspace strategy
- describe new concepts in the air traffic management in the En-route and Approach areas
- describe Airspace Design and Procedure design technics
