Objectives
General objective:
At the end of this module, the applicant will be able to:
- explain the systems Europe implemented to optimize the management of the air traffic.
- describe the future exploration tracks regarding flight path modelling and integration of on board equipment in the management of the air traffic.
Detailed objectives:
After completing this module, the applicant will be able to:
- explain the Air Traffic Flow Management and Airspace Management services, specially through the European example,
- how these services contribute to the protection of the air traffic control sectors and airports from overload,
- describe the use of collision avoidance systems
- describe how the ADS-B information can be used in the flight path modelling and also its use in airborne separation assurance
- explain the evolution in the aeronautical information exchange
