Objectives

General objective:

Know and understand the current ATM challenges and its near future

Detailed objectives:

Knowing the ATM Story
Understand the functioning of the air space management (ASM) and the Airspace design.
Comprehend air traffic management principles of a wide approach and the CDM airport
Describe AMAN and DMAN principles and functions
Describe the functioning of safety management system (SMS)
Describe research European ATM project (SESAR) and be able to list the differences with NEXTGEN.
Knowing estimate the perspectives of support embedded systems to the separation
Identify how sustainable development issues must be taken into account in the ATM
