CS4002 - Cockpit design

Objectives

General objective:

Describe methods of design of a modern transport aircraft's cockpit

Detailed objectives:

-Know to implement processes of architectural design of avionic systems
-Know to implement methodologies of ergonomics and optimization of HCI to cockpit design basing on the drivers: enter/exit, accessibility, pilotability, visibility/readability, comfort, day/night lighting, geometrics
-Apply this knowledge to specific cases: design of a cockpit layout, design of a particular system (visualization, side-stick).
