Objectives

General objective:

At the end of the course, the student shall be able to:
- specify all component of an airport system,
-describe its funtionning and the relations between the different components.

Detailed objectives:

At the end of the course, the student shall be able to:

identify and, based on a given reference documentation, correctly assess and specify the following airport infrastructures taking into account forecast traffic and local conditions:
Movement areas and associated protections,
Helistations,
Airport Buildings.
explain the safety objectives of the constitutive elements of a movement area,
identify the factors influencing airport capacity,
criticise a traffic forecast.
