IS4020 - Security governance

Objectives

General objective:

The simultaneous consideration of functional objectives of safety and security is a global engineering approach.
It embraces the principles of quality and is in a perennial search for continuous improvement.
To be completed, the security governance must be accompanied by a skills increase and expertise of the company's engineers because SSI is a major area for engineers.
The SSI governance requires knowledge, mastery of risk assessment methods, the ability to design, to implement, evaluate and maintain a security policy and ensure continuity of service.

Detailed objectives:

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Identify the main legal element related to SSI
Know the safety and security method and be sensitize to their evolution
Appreciate how to defend an information system aimed on industrial system as the air navigation one, against potential negative intentions using data processor system.
Appreciate and apply specific policy concept to the issue of hybrid (industrial) information systems
