MO5004 - Advanced Electromagnetism

Objectives

General objective:

At the end of the course, the student shall be able to :
- formulate an electromagnetic problem using Green functions and the spectral decomposition of an operator;
- study periodic structures by using Floquet modes and disperion diagramme;
- analyse and understand the interest of different types of materials (metamaterials, EBG, ionised environment, ferrites).
