Objectives

General objective:

The cours introduces the surevillance sensors : primary radar, secondary radar monopulse/S mode, ADS-B, ADS - C, multilateraion.

Detailed objectives:

At the end of the course the student:
- should know the principles of functioning of different CDS
- should be able to put in perspective advantages and disadvantages of CDS
- should be able to make a statement of power applied to CDS
- should master the main methods of signal processing used in surveillance sensors
- should know the properties of antennas commonly used in CDS
