Objectives

General objective:

After the courses of this minor, the student shall be able to contribute to a research project related to the themes of the Interactive Computing Lab (www.lii-enac.fr) :
• Axis Interactive System Design:
• Axis systèmes homme-machine aéronautiques

Detailed objectives:

After the courses of this minor, the student shall be able to contribute to a research project related to the themes of the Interactive Computing Lab (www.lii-enac.fr) :
• Axis Interactive System Design:
• Contribution to the djnn execution environment (djnn.net) : development of innovative demonstrative applications, development of new interaction devices to enrich the concept of interaction-oriented programming;
• Design and development of languages et notations for programmers
• Design and developmenet of innovative interactive visualisations for programers and engineers ;
• Axis systèmes homme-machine aéronautiques :
• Design and implementation of innovative, multimodal interaction techniques for Air-Trafic Controllers and Pilots (Strip’TIC, e-fan, cockpit of the future projects)
• Design and implementation of interactive spaces for ground-board collaboration
• Design and implementation of innovative interactive visualizations for the analysis of data
The topic will be defined by the adviser (teacher and researcher from LII), depending on his/her specific activity inside the labs and the motivation of the student. The student will have access to the experimental office and to the ressources of the lab. The student will have to write a scientific article, accounting for his/her work, which may be submitted to the conferences of the domain (IHM, CHI, HCI Aero)
