Objectives

General objective:

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to process and study statistical data, and be critical on the results obtained, by using statistical basic tools

Detailed objectives:

- Build a statistical model from a concrete problem
- Calculate and analyze the expectancy and the variance of a statistical model
- Build an estimation with confidence intervals
- Solve a decision problem using hypothesis tests
- Extract the properties of a linear relation between observed variables and explanatory variables
