Objectives

General objective:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to describe the aircraft maintenance certification processes in the civil aviation environment

Detailed objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Summarize the main applicable requirements for aircraft continuing airworthiness and maintenance (ICAO annexes and EASA specificities)
- Identify the actors involved in those processes, and define their activities and responsibilities
- Describe the links between a CAMO and a MRO, and determine the relevant Maintenance Documents for performing the maintenance works
- Explain what a CRS (Certificate of Release into Services) is and under which conditions it is delivered
- Explain the Aircraft Certificate of Airworthiness renewal (ARC) process
- Describe the use of maintenance technical data
