Objectives
General objective:
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to present the aircraft safety system through the operator’s certification and surveillance.
Detailed objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the regulatory environment for aircraft operations
- Remind the different types of operations, as laid down by ICAO, and quote the specificities introduced by other operational regulations (with a focus on AIR OPS)
- Explain the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) delivery and surveillance process
- Describe the constraints applicable to the operations of an aircraft (examples: ETOPS, leasing)
- Use the applicable operational documentation for flight preparation and management
