Objectives
General objective:
Upon completion of this course, the student shall be able :
- To describe the significant meteorological phenomena for the aeronautics
- To use Standard atmosphere and Barometric altimetry
- To recognize meteorology language for aeronautics
- To interpret weather conditions information
Detailed objectives:
- To explain significant phenomena: low visibility, icing and other types of contamination, turbulence and wind shear, Cumulonimbus cloud and associated phenomena.
- To use Standard atmosphere and Barometric Altimetry
- To understand Graphical and alphanumerical Codes (meteorological charts and messages).
- To use the meteorological flight documentation
