AT4601E - Air Traffic Management

Objectives

General objective:

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:
- describe the different ATCOs and their environment
- enumerate the basics of the aviation law,
- name the air navigation services,
- identify the air traffic service units and their operational organization.

If possible, a visit of the different ENAC simulator facilities will be planned.
If possible, a TWR and an En-Route (stripless) simulation will be planned.

Detailed objectives:

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:

-describe the air traffic control domain.
-list the various air navigation services and the air traffic service units that provide these services,
-describe the airspace division, the different classes of airspace and the associated services,
-recognise the principle tools and technical means dedicated to service provision,
