Objectives
General objective:
At the end of this course, given a simple textual specification, the student will be able to carry out an object-oriented design using use-case, class and sequence diagrams in the context of software development
Detailed objectives:
At the end of this course, the student will be able to :
- analyse a simple textual specification in order to identify the main concepts useful for an object-oriented design
- specify the main views of a software system using the UML formalism (use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram), given a simple texutal specification
- understand a specification based on a set of UML diagrams in order to be able to implement it in an object-oriented language (Java)
