CS4608 - Cross cutting System engineering 1

Objectives

General objective:

The objective of this module is to provide students with basic knowledge and practice about two major cross cutting methods : model based system engineering (MBSE) , Agile System Engineering and safety analysis model (MBSA)

Modeling will address the development processes of system (MBSE) and the safety analysis processes (MBSA)

Detailed objectives:

At the end of this module students :
- will be able to list and characterise cross-cutting system engineering methods

- will be able to describe, characterise and justify MBSE
- will be able to put in practice MBSE on a concrete system development

- will be able to describe and charcacterise basic MBSA : FHA, SSA, PSSA
- will be able to apply these methods on a concrete system

- will be able to describe, charcacterise and justify agile system engineering method
- will be able to put in practice agile system engineering on a concrete system
