CA207 - ABES ABnormal and Emergency Situations Aerodrome
Objectives
General objective:
At the end of this phase, the student will be aware of the management of abnormal and emergency situations (ABES) in the context of aerodrome control.
The student will learn a methodology to control unusual situations based on the principle ASSIST (Eurocontrol) and Special Occurencies Forms as developped by ENAC.
Detailed objectives:
1- The student will be aware of human factors related to ABES situations
2- The student will have to manage a runway incursion
3- The student will have to manage a fire alarm on landing gear
4- The student will have to manage a radio failure of a flyco
5- The student will have to manage a bird strike
6- The student will have to manage an arriving aircraft with cracked windshield
7- The student will have to manage a radio failure
8- The Students will have to manage an arrival with hydraulic failure
9- The student will have to handle a bomb threat
10- The student will have to manage an unidentified aircraft in the CTR without radio contact and SSR 7600
11- The student will be using ENAC generic Emergency checklists in some cases
