Objectives
General objective:
Provide the student with :
- the skills necessary to maintain the level of English required for his/her career
Detailed objectives:
- Obtain a broader linguistic culture on which to base language learning acquisition.
- Obtain the necessary language skills in order to become and remain an efficient and autonomous learner
Preparation for Cambridge First Certificate or Cambridge Advanced English in order to validate level B2

Listening
During semester 4 the student will :
1. develop fluency and be encouraged to work on faster speech via time limited tasks
2. develop writing skills for non specialised text types ; e mail, essay, report focusing on apologising, comparing, describing , explaining, expressing opinion…
3. develop the control of certain language elements such as grammar, lexis, word formation, lexical and grammatical transformations
4. develop listening comprehension in order to be able to show understanding of attitude, detail, genre, gist, opinion, agreement
