Objectives

General objective:

Provide the student with :
· the linguistic skills that will enable him/her to provide air traffic services safely
· the skills necessary to maintain the level of English required throughout his/her career

Detailed objectives:

By the end of the course the student should have :
· Understood the specific linguistic needs of their future career and the ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements
· Become aware of learning strategies
· Become aware of individual strengths and weaknesses
· Understood the objectives of task based learning
· Have worked on comprehension of authentic spoken English
· Have worked on fluency and interaction
