Objectifs

Objectif général :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to describe how an aircraft and engine manufacturer are organized to support their products with a specific focus on the spare and logistics activity

Objectifs détaillés :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
• Describe how a maintenance program is developed, certified and managed by the aircraft manufacturer
• Explain why the aircraft reliability analysis is required and how it is developed
• Describe the after sales organization of the aircraft and engine manufacturers
• Describe the principal aspects of the aviation logistics and spares, the new strategies and services including the component pool and exchange services
• Explain how the inventory of spares parts is defined and managed
• Identify the organizations and infrastructures of aircraft spares management, the stock allocation and distribution strategies.
• Explain the spares certification requirements and the management of “bogus parts” parts
• Describe the main aspects of the maintenance of military aircraft “Integrated Logistic support”
