Objectifs

Objectifs détaillés :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the main aspects of the aircraft maintenance (safety, reliability, availability and maintainability), and define the principal maintenance activities (aircraft line & base, components shop maintenance)
- Remind the role and responsibilities of the main stakeholders (manufacturers, operators, airworthiness authorities, MRO companies and service providers)
- Describe how a maintenance program is developed, certified and managed by the aircraft manufacturer
- Explain why the aircraft reliability analysis is required and how it is developed
- Explain what aircraft maintainability is and how it is developed
- Describe how the new technologies, digitalization and big data management will impact the maintenance activities
- Identify the main aspects of the aircraft dismantling and recycling
