AU4600E - SMAC (System modeling, analysis and control)
Objectifs
Objectif général :
This course introduces mathematical-based engineering tools for modeling, analyzing and designing control systems.
Students will also learn the basics of requirements engineering and verification and validation activities in the context of control systems.
Objectifs détaillés :
To know how to linearize a nonlinear system
To know how to use Laplace transform
To know how to get a transfer function
To know the characteristics of first order and second order models
To know how to analyze the stability of a linear system, both in continuous time and discrete time domain
To know how to design a PID controller
To know how to design a precommand
To know how to design a time-domain servo system based on specifications
To compute the eignevalues of a dynamical systems to argue about its stability
To compute a Lyapunov function
To specify and evaluate the performance metrics of linear systems
To associate verification activities to requirements
