Objectifs
Objectif général :
After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:
- Explain and describe the main methods based on GNSS differential and multi sensor positioning that are implemented to improve the basic GNSS positioning performances
- Analyse the improvement brought to the computed position accuracy

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:
- Explain and describe the differential GNSS concept
- Implement Code-based differential techniques
- Explain and describe the fundamental techniques for precise positioning
- Explain and describe precise GPS positioning methods (method, internal mechanisms and performance):
o RTK - Real Time Kinematic
o PPP - Precise Point Positioning
- Analyse the improvements brought by GNSS differential positioning methods to reach sub meter and high-precision positioning
- Explain and describe the different data fusion architectures implemented in a positioning filter using a Kalman filter
- Explain and describe the characteristics of the different sensors usable for data fusion
- Describe the mathematical models to implement Kalman filter data fusion
