Objectifs

Objectif général :

Upon completion of this course, the student shall be able to present the main principles applicable to the certification of environmental protection and environmental risks.

Objectifs détaillés :

Upon completion of this course, the student shall be able to:
- Quote and interpret the international objectives, regulatory requirements and means of compliance applicable to the certification of environmental protection (noise and engine emissions)
- Identify, in the aircraft architectures and propulsion systems, the elements contributing to the emissions, and the principles for their reduction
- Describe the phenomenology, risks and safeguards related to the lightning, the icing and the electromagnetic environment of aircraft
- Quote and interpret the certification requirements and means of compliance applicable to the lightning, the icing and the electromagnetic environment
- Improve, in autonomy, his/her knowledge of the regulatory certification texts applicable to the of environmental protection and to the environmental risks.
