Objectifs

Objectif général :

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to analyse stakes of the safety in the air transportation system and the need for a systemic approach to safety management.

Objectifs détaillés :

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able to:
• Understanding the evolution of aviation safety over the past decades
• Describe the air transport chain with its different actors and analyse their interfaces
• Justify the need for a systems approach to safety management, including the necessary organizational structure, responsibilities, policies and procedures.
• Analysing the economic impact of security
• Describe the principles and elements of an SMS and PSS
• Present a roadmap to implement SMS and SSP
• Have a critical view of the SMS approach, with a view to improve it
