Objectives

General objective:

After completing this module, the student will be able to:
work in teams on SMS development, implementation, assessment and maintaining for a training organisation, covering training content, methods and practices, taking into account the regulatory requirements, including instructor/assessor/examiner requirements.

Detailed objectives:

After completing this module, the student will be able to:
• Describe Approved Training organization (ATO)
• Understand and analyse the specificities of a training organization
• Explain the importance of ATO in safety management
• Define ATO personnel, documentation, training devices, tool, and facilities.
• Analyse the hazards and associated risks with the training activity and inherent to the organization itself.
• Assess the risks
• Build the frame of reference for the SMS.
• Organize an efficient data collection and data analysis system.
• Create a safety action plan.
• Implement a “just culture” in an ATO.
• Assess the SMS
