Objectives

General objective:

After completing this module, the student/applicant will be able will be able to implement the processes, methods and tools necessary to achieve and maintain an acceptable level of safety risk within an organization.

Detailed objectives:

• Explain, justify and apply the most commonly used techniques and methods in aviation related to the management of safety risks and illustrate them with key aviation safety examples
• Identify the relevant methods and tools that can be used at each step of risk management, in particular for analysing and assessing aviation safety risks
• Define the life cycle of safety data: collection, reliability, analysis to extract the information necessary for safety management.
