Objectives

General objective:

After this module, the student/applicant will be able to consider human and organizational factors/levers in safety and to engage a collective towards the next level of safety in their organization.

Detailed objectives:

• Explain the main principles of the human factor approach
• Describe the key human factor components relevant for aviation activities
• Explain the organizational perspective on safety approach
• Assess the safety culture of an organization
• Lead change in an organization by using project management techniques
• Use some facilitating methods and tools for preparing a meeting, a brainstorming session or a workshop
