Objectives

General objective:

After completing this module, the student will be able to describe and implement the regulatory conditions to conduct commercial air transport operations, and the means used by airlines / operators to comply with such rules.

Detailed objectives:

After completing this module, the student will be able to :
- Define the different types of operations and quote the main associated requirements
- Describe the AOC delivery and monitoring process
- Explain how the SMS is implemented in an airline
- Describe the ETOPS certification / approval procedures
- Apply the aircraft performances concepts to simple cases
- Indicate the contents of the mainly used operational documents
- Explain how an airline manages the network / flight scheduling
